The Silver Cross Surf is a unique all-terrain reversible pram and pushchair combination. The lightweight magnesium alloy chassis is air sprung, giving maximum strength and minimum weight, whilst providing unrivalled comfort and manoeuvrability. The seat unit faces forwards and rearwards, allowing eye-to-eye contact with your newborn, and has numerous recline positions with alarge adjustable hood to protect against the sun. Supplied with the Surf is our new Babynest which allows a full lie flat position for newborns and is finished in sumptuous fleece forwarmth and comfort. To complete the protection of your baby, the Surf package includes a protective apron, seat liner, parasol, rain cover and insect net. Surf is all about ride and comfort for you and your baby. The ultimate all-terrain package, smart folding and lightweight, designed for life.
Once you have selected the colour of your chassis and seat unit from a choice of Black / Slate, Chrome / Black or Gun metal / Linen the next decision is to decide on the colour of your essential pack. In the essential pack you get the seat liner, the parasol, pram apron and pram hood. The Essential pack comes slate, linen and black to match the chassis and seat unit but if you prefer brighter colours you can also go for Tangerine, Lime, Chilli Red or Lilac.
There is also the option of a separate carrycot with the Silver Cross surf, whilst the seat unit is suitable from birth as it comes with the lovely baby nest, the carrycot does give you extra fexibility especially on long walks, shopping trips and for occassional overnight sleeping. To convert your pushchair into a travel system there is a surf compatible Ventura Plus infant carrier car seat that mounts directly onto the chassis.
From September 2010 you will have even more choice when it comes to car seat as a Maxi Cosi car seat adaptors will be available. The adaptors will make the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix and the new Maxicosi Pebble compatible with the surf. The real benefit here is that Maxi Cosi also have isofix and belted seat base solutions.
