Mima pushchairs arrives in store at It’s a Baby
The Xari and the Kobi pushchairs have been developed by Davy Kho, who was the designer behind the Bloom Fresco high chair. You can certainly see the influence of Davy’s contemporary style in these amazing looking systems with its ‘sleek lines’ and features including a curved, extendable hood and a pod’ seat that stores a carrycot inside, Mima pushchairs certainly look distinctive and are sure to turn heads.
One of the clever concepts of the Mima and the Xari is the hidden, integrated carrycot that’s lives inside the seat pod when it’s not being used. This is a brilliant idea especially if you have a limited amount of storage space.
The all important collapse mechanism is super easy and similarly to other systems such as the iCandy Peach, the Uppa Baby Vista and the Joolzs day, the chassis essentially folds in half, it will free stand and should fit easily into most car boots.
The Xari is a single child system however for those forward thinking planners, the Kobi is a safe bet as this can be converted from a single ibto a double system to accommodate a new born baby as well as a toddler. In fact the Kobi is pretty versatile and can be used for one child, for a baby and a toddler or for twins.
The Mima puschairs will definitely appeal to appeal to the more style conscious parent and of course to fans of some of the hottests brands right now such as iCandy, Bugaboo or Bloom.
The Xari and the Kobi are cleverly designed systems with some great features and amazing looks to justify the premium point, up there with the likes of iCandy and Stokke. But if you really want to stand out from the crowd, this could be the pram for you!
The Mima and the Xari are not available to buy online from any retailers in the UK and can only be purchased in store from an authorised stockist. At the It’s a Baby showroom (in Bury – Greater Manchester) we have the full Mima range on display with our highly trained team on hand to give you a full demonstration.
