Take a Sneak Preview of the new Silver Cross nursery furniture which is actally available to order from Its a Baby now. The first stock come available from the middle of February and by the end of Feb if you are local to our showroom why not come and visit our bespoke Silver Cross Bedroom floor.

The new Silver Cross Studio Collection of nursery furniture arrives in our showroom mid February and will be available to view from the beginning of February once we have completed work on our Silver Cross furniture floor! . The range features 3 gorgeous styles; Devonshire, in a walnut finish and tongue-and-groove design; Nostalgia, finished in classic white; and Porterhouse, a simple design in shaker style. Each quality range is carefully crafted and has storage and durability in abundance, resulting in furniture which will last and last. On offers is a white glove service ensures that your new furniture is delivered to your home address, then built and finished in the room of your choice by our installation experts. The furniture collection grows with your child from cot to junior bed, and includes a large storage drawer underneath for your Silver Cross bedding sets. Each range also has a full size wardrobe and dresser/changer which will give years of faithful service.       CD: I love the integral cot bed drawer on each of our ranges. It’s great for bedding and blankets and remains a feature even when converted to a junior bed.

SCC: When will the Silver Cross furniture range be available?

CD: All the new ranges are available from April. They will be in selected retailers throughout the UK, plus online on the Silver Cross website. We can’t wait to see them in-store!

SCC: Does Silver Cross have plans to produce further nursery furniture?

CD: We certainly do! Just watch this space for future developments. Silver Cross furniture is here to stay!

  With the imminent launch of the Studio Collection of furniture and bedding in the UK, we caught up with Silver Cross Furniture Development Manager – Chris Dwyer, for a chat.

Silver Cross Club: Hello Chris, you’ve been involved with furniture for many years now, how did you first get into the field?

Chris Dwyer: I first started planning, designing and installing office furniture, which eventually progressed to the nursery industry and to my post here at Silver Cross!

SCC: Your new ranges of furniture are very exciting! Can you tell us a little about your latest creations?

CD: We have worked long and hard developing pieces of furniture of high quality and classic style. We have listened to

   parents and their specific needs and hope we have created ranges which look great and are really functional. Each item is designed for longevity and will last throughout childhood, to infinity!

SCC: And where did you get the inspiration for the ranges?

CD: I work alongside a team of designers at Silver Cross. We take our inspiration from lots of places, including the world of interiors and textile fashions.

SCC: With so much nursery furniture in the UK market, what makes the new Silver Cross furniture stand out from the rest?

CD: Quality, design and longevity are at the heart of everything we create; that’s the difference.

SCC: The ranges have some fantastic features, but which stands out as your favourite?
