I’m expecting soon and i have decided to get a silver cross but I’m not sure whether to get Charcoal or Red to be easily visible in the evenings or crossings roads.

Congratulations !!! Its difficult to say which of the colours is will be most visable at night because neither of them contain reflective material in the fabric design. The charcoal is prehaps a shade lighter but the red is a bright colour …. Sorry i know im sitting on the fence a little here, but i would say that for if you need to be visable at night prehaps it would be better to choose the colour you like the most and then get something relective that you can put on the pram in the evenings – maybe something that a mountain biker would use ? Leave it with me i will think of something suitable.

i love these prams, hav jst put a deposit on the 3dclassic in charcole and im so excited to get baby here and start using it, does the vogue come in charcole?? and will there be a base for the car seat made at some stage?? thank u.x

The Silver Cross 3D Classic comes in charcoal, ebony, rouge and pistachio and the 3D Vogue in Iced Chocolate, Domino and Sugared Almonds. It’s a Baby also has some classic 3D in cargo at a killer price but we only have 2 left in stock now!
The classic and the vogue are exactly the same frame and have all the same great features and accessories such as change bag, foot muff, rain cover, carrycot liner and pram apron. The 3D vogue has a dark finish to the chassis as apposed to a silver frame in the classic, the fabrics are maybe slightly more luxurious (but then I would say this is a matter of opinion), the change bags are different and you get a small swing toy that attaches to the hood of the 3D.
In answer to your question about the base, I am sure that Silver Cross will eventually bring out a base for their car seat but unfortunately I think it may take a few more years to reach the Uk market.

I am trying to decide between the 3D Classic Charcoal and the 3D Vogue Domino. I like the newer Vogue version with the darker chassis and added luxury but really love the Charcoal colour in the Classic version. Do you know if they have any plans to extend the colour range in the Vogue to include Charcoal?

Unfortunately I think it is highly unlikely that Silver Cross will make the charcoal fabrics available on the vogue chassis.

We bought the 3D vogue Sugar Almond it looks great but we have trouble collasping the pram it will not move help

It sounds as if the wire system inside the frame may have been damaged / snapped and this can prevent you from collapsing the pram. There is a way to manually activate the release pins to get it down but it will need to make the trip back to the team at Silver Cross for a repair. They usually turn repairs around really quickly and if its still under warranty this is of course all free of charge. You should really make contact with the retailer you purchased your 3D from and they should be able to facilitate this for you. If you purchased it from It’s a Baby, just give us a call on 0844 822 3965. If you don’t get any joy from your retailer to purchased your 3d from, feel free to give us a call and we will do our best to help you out.

Hi, Thank you for your question. The 3d and the 3d vogue are identical frames however the classic is a silver frame and the vogue has a dark gunmetal grey frame. The only other difference is that you get a small soft toy with the vogue and the change bags are a little bit fancier!
The rouge 3d (red) is actually a classic and at the moment they are on offer with us at £275 with a free ventura car seat. The 3D vogues in the sugared almonds and the domino colours are also on offer with a free ventura car seat but these are £325.This is a “while stock lasts” offer and probably best to get one now while you can as this is likely to end very soon.
